It’s been such an exciting year. Well, yes, Olympics and other world events, but what we’re really talking about are the crazy collaborations of H&M and top fashion brands. We thought we’d give you the full H&M’s designer collaborations list , just to get what’s the excitement is all about.
H&M’s first collaboration, was with Karl Lagerfeld back in 2004, and continued with the Stella McCartney collaboration in 2005 were defining moments in the world of fashionistas like us. It’s the ultimate high-street fashion meets the real streets – the real-life, the affordable and the desired, and it were those moments which made us all begin craving a mannish jacket. H&M’s Collaborations have been giving the option to be part of the fashion itself or of those fashion moments.

Matthew Williamson – 2009
Jimmy Choo – also in 2009, a limited-edition diffusion collection by Jimmy Choo featuring shoes and handbags, and clothing designed by Choo for the first time.
Sonia Rykiel’s collection of women’s knitwear and lingerie range hit selected stores at the end of 2009.
Lanvin‘s frilled silk one-shoulder dresses came in Fall 2010.
Fashion blogger Elin Kling‘s collection which was available at selected stores only in Spring/ Summer 2011.
Versace’s collection in 2011, with the wild prints, bold colors, silk-and-leather-studded items and Versace brand’s familiar motifs.
Trish Summerville ,costume designer for Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movie had designed a collection in 2011.
Marni‘s collection launched in March 2012.
Japanese Vogue editor Anna Dello Russo‘s collection launched in October 2012 – a kooky, imaginative collection, outlandish and full of humor as well as with a sense of fashion.
Avant-garde label Maison Martin Margiela is the next collaboration for 2012, launching on November 15th.
