It’s the Jewish New Year, a time of new beginnings, wishes and blessings. And lots of food. And meals and events to get dressed to.
One of the nicest customs of celebrating the Jewish New Year, is sending Happy New Year greetings to each other. Back in the days before emails and texts, it was a pure arts-and-crafts-time pleasure, where drawing of doves and using as much glitter as possible was considered a hell of an afternoon. And it was lovely indeed, both creating them and receiving them in the mail, an envelope filled with best wishes and hope for a great year.
No one really sends them anymore, and the only envelopes we can get excited about are the Envelope Clutches, which can be a great addition to the Rosh Ha’Shana dinner and events. They add a pop of color and style – and the bigger they are, the more we love them.
