Welcome to the world of inspiration, art and beauty. These are the words that come to mind when seeing Miriam Merenfeld’s Jewelry Collections (oh, and add “coveting” to the list).
Born in Venezuela to an architect and a painter, Miriam has lived in Florida for 30 years. She graduated from The Pratt Institute and is now dedicated to designing jewelry. Her inspirations come from the arts, architecture, different cultures and their landscape. Combined with her architectual background, the jewelry collections are a celebration of design and art, constructional and flowing shapes, combination of materials and lines. The collections are versatile, but the designer’s signature style is shown in each of them.
“ My collections evolve with time. To inspire, reflect and give homage to the culture of the time through aesthetic design; is something I strive to achieve.”
Many pieces can be customized to tell an individual’s story, thereby giving them personal significance, while at the same time juxtaposing and intertwining the beauty of semi- precious stones and metals. These weave together the diversity and the individuality that we find in our culture today, incorporating hints of the past and the dreams of the future.
Each collection features necklaces, earrings and bracelets. What’s your favorite one?
