We try, honestly we do. But sharks are far from being our favorites – it’s quite on the contrary. But there are (many) people out there who wait patiently to The Event of the year like they wait for their birthdays. Yeah, we’re talking about Shark Week.
Last week marked the 25th iteration of Shark Week, Discovery Channel’s week-long celebration of the fearsome fish. Not that we were watching, but we did notice a micro-trend of shark inspired jewelry going around. On one hand, it’s a way to overcome the fear of these critters, and it does give you that cool-surfer look, but as always, it also depends on what you actually wear.
