The best way to make your tights last longer is to wash them and let them dry. Once dried fold them or roll them and keep in refrigerator. Tights tend to last longer this way and don’t tear easily.
When your tights or pantyhose are ripped, be prepared to stop the rip before it runs with fast-drying clear nail polish. The nail polish will bind to the sides of the hole, preventing more unraveling…
Love these tights.
I have a bit of patterned tights collection and I need some of these to add to it.
If you rip your tights, apply clear nail varnish as soon as possible.
It won’t save them but it will stop the hole getting bigger.
Wash on gentle, cold cycle!
I love these tights!!
I wash my tights by hand and drip dry after use to keep them from snagging on something in the washer or dryer.
Like others, I also do the nailpolish trick… but before putting on tights or nylons on myself or my daughter I make sure those toenails are clipped nicely so no snagging on the tights and also it is easier for us to roll them all the way down and put them on one leg at a time.
If the tights are patterned (especially if it’s lace or an irregular pattern) you can just put a couple stitches of the same color thread to patch up a little hole

Hand wash!
I always hand wash my tights with a very gentle lingerie soap and hang dry. I also sometimes slip on gloves before I put them on if my nails are really long, so, they don’t tear when I pull the up.
I wash my tights by hand and drip dry after use to keep them from snagging on the holder for a shower
Truthfully, I toss them in the washer with my other laundry and then hang them to dry. Tights are pretty tough, but hosiery is another story – that’s why I no longer wear hose.

As for tight maintenance; you really have to either hand wash them or throw them in the “delicate” cycle…although that’s a waste of water so hand washing is a better idea
To make tights warmer in the winter here in Canada, I layer fleece lined tights over regular tights

The best you can do is to wahs your tights by hand)
First of all I wash my tights by hands and scented soaps so then if it dries it’ll pretty scenting
and if it’s splitted I use nail polish on the edges of the hole to avoid becoming a bigger hole!
clear polish for tears and wear thin socks under the tights to reduce foot sweat and keep the color on the bottom from fading!:)
My best tip is to handwash tights, not wash them in a washing machine, and line dry them.
I store mine in individual plastic bags so they don’t get snagged on anything!
Always take any bracelets or rings off before putting on tights… and if you do get a run, a little bit of clear nail polish will usually keep it from spreading.
i handwash them

I hand wash and air dry….and keep your nails short or at least well groomed to prevent snags.
If you notice a small rip in your tights and fear that it’ll tear a bigger hole, use clear nailpolish and dab a bit of it on the rip. That’ll help prevent your tights from ripping more.
Wear socks with your tights to prevent the bottoms from getting dirty and worn through.
My tip is never ever put them on while wearing any ring — I always take mine off first as I find thats what leads to the most runs and then of course I fix those runs with nail polish
to maintain tights never ever handle then with long nail that have been uncut. they will snag and ruin the threading
thank you

I wash mine in a mesh laundry bag to keep them from snagging.
hand wash in Woolite and air dry
I’ve found hand-washing tights make them last longer.
