If you have friends around the globe, you’re probably busy trying to figure out what’s the local time in their areas, making sure you’re not going to wake anyone up in the middle of the night or catch them in the middle of a busy day…
All Around the World Watch by Mr. Jones Watches has eight distinct hour hands – all are landmark buildings – so you can read the local time by looking at the landmark building in your city (or time zone) and check the other cities time zones while you’re at it. If you’re in London, the Big Ben is the hour hand that you look at; in New York you would use Statue of Liberty as your hour marker, and a pigeon (the universal city dweller) marks the minutes.
The time is marked by:
Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco: GMT -8
Salt Lake Temple, Utah: GMT -7
Sears Tower, Chicago: GMT -6
Statue of Liberty, New York: GMT -5
Big Ben, London: GMT ±0
The Eiffel Tower, Paris: GMT + 1
Istanbul’s minarets: GMT + 2
